Robert Capper

Vice President, Advisory

Robert Capper is a Vice President in Burford’s judgment enforcement business.

Mr. Capper worked for the British Intelligence Services for eight years, with an emphasis in counter intelligence and counter terrorism investigations working extensively in North and West Africa. Following this career, Robert joined a leading global-risk management consultancy before helping to establish Focus Ltd, a specialist dispute-resolution boutique which was subsequently acquired by Burford Capital in January 2015. Robert’s experience includes high-profile sovereign disputes and asset tracing, with a particular emphasis on fraud and white collar crime investigations.

Mr. Capper has a Master’s degree from the University of Bristol and further post-graduate qualifications from the University of Edinburgh.
