Apoorva Patel, Vice President at Burford, will be speaking on the panels “Practical Approaches to Managing International Commercial Arbitrations: Diverse Perspectives of Industry Players” and “Practical Approaches to Managing International Commercial Arbitrations: Diverse Perspectives of Industry Players” as part of the 11th Annual Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS) Conference. The sessions will take place on 12 September at 1:45pm EDT and 4:30pm EDT.
In the first session, Apoorva will cover strategic considerations and cost-effective approaches to the early stages of a commercial arbitration. In the second session, he will discuss case law developments and trends on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. Apoorva will be joined by R. David Gallo (Krevolin & Horst), Kirsten Teo (Dechert LLP) Rodney R. Miller (Womble Bond Dickinson) and Nachiketa Mittal (PhD).
