Apoorva Patel, Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at the panel “Disclosure of Third-Party Funding in Commercial Arbitration” as part of the 6th CARTAL Conference on International Arbitration. The session will take place on 2 April at 5:00pm IST.
The panel will focus on the gaining popularity of third-party funding in the field of commercial arbitration and discuss the various issues that arise in the disclosure of third-party funding, how to strike a balance between disclosure and confidentiality and what can the institutions, parties and arbitrators do to resolve such issues. Apoorva will be joined by Prof. Catherine Rogers (Queen Mary University of London), Anish Wadia (Governing Council of the Hyderabad Arbitration Centre), Katie Chung (Norton Rose Fulbright in Singapore) and Ananya Mitra (Dechert).
