Bloomberg Law reports on “exploding” use of legal finance

In an article for Bloomberg Law, Melissa Heelan Stanzione writes that “A new survey released by a leading litigation financier seems to indicate that litigation financing is more widely accepted and understood than it was several years ago—and it’s growing.” She notes that “Seventy percent of the online respondents whose organizations have not yet used litigation finance said they’re likely to turn to it in the next two years”. She also points out that “70% of [corporate] respondents said they have chosen to forgo claims due to their impact on the bottom line,” which indicates even more room for future growth.
