Law.com suggests that legal finance will serve as a recession hedge

In an article for Law.com, Dan Packel suggests that, in the event of an economic recession, legal finance may serve as a hedge for law firms, allowing them to maintain business. Packel argues: “It’s not unreasonable to expect that the new pool of capital sitting out there to fuel what funders see as ‘meritorious claims’ may help keep litigators occupied” in the event of a recession.
