In an article for Modern Restaurant Management, Rufus Caine argues that, though restaurant brands are particularly susceptible to malfeasant activity from vendors and suppliers, they needn’t shoulder the cost—thanks to legal finance. Caine points out that “For restaurant brands operating with slim margins or with high capital expenditures—which together can constrain the legal budget—third-party financing may be a necessity to pursue a claim.”
