Reda Hicks

Vice President

Reda Hicks is a Vice President with responsibility for building new business with US law firms and companies for Burford, with a special focus on Texas-based organizations.

Prior to joining Burford, Ms. Hicks was Senior Counsel for deugro (USA), Inc., a global freight forwarding and project logistics solutions organization, where she advanced product strategy and geographical growth while serving as the primary contact for all legal and government affairs in the Americas region. She previously worked as a partner at Diamond McCarthy, with a practice focused on large-scale commercial and environmental litigation cases.

Ms. Hicks earned a law degree from Berkeley School of Law and an MBA in sustainable business from Marylhurst University. She has led a range of efforts advocating for the interests of veterans and military families, including service as a founding member and governance director for the Military Spouse JD Network, and as an advisory board member for the Military Family Advisory NetworkShe has also served on the boards of Leadership Houston and the Texas Lyceum.
