Tom Brown to speak during London International Disputes Week

Tom Brown, Senior Vice President at Burford Capital will speak on the panel “UK/UAE Cross-Border Enforcement: Monetising Judgments and Arbitral Awards” during the London International Disputes Week (LIDW). The session will take place on June 4 at 4:00PM BST in London. 

This session will explore this trend from the perspective of enforcing and monetising judgments and arbitral awards between these two jurisdictions, including: (a) injunctive/freezing relief and the role of asset tracing; (b) litigation funding; (c) information gathering tools, including s 1782 relief, Norwich Pharmacal orders and post-recognition discovery; and (d) general asset tracing and enforcement strategy.

Tom will be joined by Shane Jury (Ashurst), Jon Gale (Ashurst), Steve Harris (FTI Consulting), Wayne Anthony (FTI Consulting) and Anneliese Day KC (Fountain Court Chambers).
