Christiane Deniger

Christiane Deniger is a Director at Burford Capital with responsibility for originating and evaluating legal finance opportunities across Burford’s international business. Based in London, she works with corporations, law firms and other dispute stakeholders to develop legal risk management and financing solutions, supporting clients involved in complex disputes globally. She is also a contributing author to various publications on international arbitration and legal finance.

Prior to joining Burford, Christiane was a senior case assessor and principal at Calunius Capital, where she evaluated and structured investments in international arbitration, litigation and competition claims. Earlier, she was a senior associate at Fried Frank, specializing in international arbitration and investigations, including regulatory and white-collar matters. She began her legal career at Dewey & LeBoeuf.

Christiane completed her LPC at University of Law London and holds a joint honors LLB from Durham University. She is fluent in French, English and Italian, with working knowledge of Spanish.
