Burford Capital hosted a lunch roundtable, “The art of winning over the tribunal.”

In-house teams know that advocacy strategy can make or break an arbitration. This session cuts through the theory and focuses on what really happens inside the arbitration room, and how advocates can win over the tribunal by navigating bias and dynamics that shape outcomes. 

Speakers:  

Christiane Deniger: Christiane Deniger is a Director with responsibility for assessing and underwriting legal risk as part of Burford’s investment team, focusing on investor-state and international commercial arbitration.

Geoff Nicholas: Geoff Nicholas is a Managing Director providing strategic input and advice in relation to the assessment, underwriting and management of legal risk as part of Burford’s core legal finance business.
