Burford Managing Director Eric Carlson discusses with Managing IP the importance of legal finance providers maintaining strong relationships with law firms, in addition to the benefits of portfolio financing deals for firms.
In relation to relationships with law firms, Carlson says: “It comes down to track record. We also want to work with firms that put the time and effort to do the appropriate diligence on a potential case and are willing to do that in an objective manner.”
