Hannah Howlett is a Senior Vice President at Burford Capital with responsibility for assessing and underwriting legal risk with a focus on asset recovery and enforcement matters. Based in Dubai, she brings significant expertise advising on complex commercial disputes, civil fraud and cross-border recovery strategies across multiple jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Burford, Hannah was a litigation associate at Peters & Peters Solicitors, where she specialized in civil fraud matters including asset tracing, trust disputes and cross-border enforcement actions and competition claims. She began her legal career at DLA Piper, acting for clients in a broad range of commercial disputes across sectors including technology, banking and construction.

Hannah earned her BA and MA from the University of Sheffield and her GDL and LPC from Nottingham Law School.
