Christiane Deniger to speak at Paris Arbitration Week 2026
Christiane Deniger, Director at Burford Capital will speak on the panel “Piercing and Protecting the Sovereign Veil: The State of Play,” co-hosted by Burford Capital and Gibson Dunn at Paris Arbitration Week. The session will take place on March 26 at 8:30am CET in Paris.
This co-hosted event will focus on the recent developments in veil-piercing and alter ego across different jurisdictions - how different fora treat (i) SOE shares/dividends, (ii) SWF assets, and (iii) intercompany loans/receivables in the context of sovereign alter ego arguments.
Ms. Deniger will speak alongside Eric Bouffard, Piers Plumptre and Jason Myatt (Gibson Dunn).
