Matt Lee to speak at AAMEG panel

Matt Lee, Principal at Burford, will be speaking at the panel “Maximising Legal Protection for your Project in Africa” hosted by Quinn Emanuel and AAMEG. The event will take place in Perth on 19 August at 4:30pm AEST and participants will be able to attend virtually and in-person.

The panel will focus on structuring investments to maximise legal protections, remedies in international arbitration and local courts and financing options if things go wrong. It will discuss both Anglophone and Francophone Africa. Matt will be joined by William Witham (Moderator), Duncan Watson QC (Quinn Emanuel) and Isabelle Michou (Quinn Emanuel). The panel will be held at Quinn Emanuel’s Perth office and is free to attend.
