Christopher Freeman to speak at PTAB Masters 2023

Christopher Freeman, Senior Vice President at Burford, will be speaking on the panel “Evaluating the PTAB Threat to Formulate Patent Assertion and Funding Strategies” at PTAB Masters 2023 hosted by IPWatchdog. The session will take place on January 31 at 1PM EST.

The panellists will speak about how patent owners assess monetization strategies and whether contingent fee attorneys still engage in representation. The panel will also discuss how patent litigation funders evaluate risks in the current environment and how the PTAB impacts assertion and monetization strategies in 2022 and 2023. Christopher will be joined by James Carmichael (Carmichael IP, PLLC), Sarah Tsou (Omni Bridgeway) and Adam Gill (GLS Caital).
