David Perla to speak at ACC 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting

David Perla, Co-Chief Operating Officer at Burford, will be speaking at the panel “Multinational & Multidisciplinary Approaches to Innovation in Legal Services: Has Innovation Improved the Delivery of Legal Services?” as part of the ACC 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. The session will take place on 20 October at 10am EDT.

The panel will discuss approaches to legal innovation on a cross border/global basis and the organization of the legal department through a look at technology usage and the use of alternative legal service providers to optimize legal services. The panelists will debate the different approaches taken by regulators in the EU, UK and the US on the organization of service providers and its effect on innovation. David will be joined by Mark Berman (International Society of Primerus Law Firms), Gayle Gorvett (GGorvett Consulting), Amy McConnell (Vodafone) and Professor Victoria Sahani (Arizona State University).
