Emily Hostage, Senior Vice President and Head of Special Projects at Burford, will be speaking at the panel “The Career Journey - Stories from Women in Tech, Law and Policy” at the Next Gen Summit hosted by the ChIPs network. The panel will take place on April 15 at 12 PM – 1 PM EST.
The panel is a “Ted Talk” style session that will feature industry-leading women who have used their legal backgrounds to create unique and alternative career paths. Emily will be joined by Shannon Nash, Victoria Espinel, Andrea Shaheen and Meredith Price and the panelists will reflect on their career progressions, the choices they made and what led them to their current role.
ChIPs was founded in 2005 and has expanded to 3700 global members from law, government, judiciary, advocacy and technology. It was founded by seven women chiefs of intellectual property in Silicon Valley: Anirma Gupta, Noreen Krall, Hon. Michelle K. Lee, Julie Mar-Spinola, Mona Sabet, Emily Ward and Mallun Yen.
