Gabriela Bersuder and Evan Meyerson to speak on West LegalEdcenter webinar

Gabriela Bersuder, Vice President at Burford Capital, and Evan Meyerson, Director at Burford Capital, will be speaking on the webinar "Introduction to Legal Finance: What In-House Lawyers Need to Know About its Ethical Use" hosted by West LegalEdcenter. The session will take place on May 16 at 12PM EST/ 5PM BST.

The webcast will provide in-house lawyers with an overview of commercial legal finance, a tool increasingly used by Fortune 500 in-house lawyers to offset costs and to accelerate recoveries for major commercial litigations and arbitrations. The speakers will also address ethical considerations including the now obsolete common law doctrine of champerty, work product protection, privilege, control, fee sharing, confidentiality and disclosure.
