Jörn Eschment, Senior Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at the panel “INNOVATION LAB: Third-Party Funding in Practice” at the 2021 AIJA Congress. The event will take place in Zurich on 27 August at 10am-10:45am CEST and event attendees will have the option of viewing the panel virtually.
Legal finance continues to make headway as companies and law firms look to mitigate risk and enhance budget certainty through their legal assets. The panel will include a practical introduction to legal finance and participants will have the chance to pitch a case to the funders in attendance. The other speakers on the panel include Katharine Bell (Schellenberg Wittmer), Isabelle Berger (Nivalion) and Olivia Furter (Nivalion).
AIJA is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under and was founded in 1962. The organization currently has 4000 members and supporters in 90 different countries. The event is open to all attendees of the 2021 AIJA Congress.
