Jörn Eschment, Senior Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at the panel “Counsel Fees in Arbitration – Reforms and Challenges” hosted by ASAb40 and HK45. The webinar will take place on January 13 at 11am CET.
The panelists will review outcome related fee structures for arbitration, in-house counsel and third-party funder. The discussion will explore the new era of outcome related fee structures and whether lawyers are up to the challenges and recent demands of clients. Jörn will be joined by Briana Young (Herbert Smith Freehills), Raymond Min-Yaw Goh (International at China Tourism Group), Tom Christopher (CMS), Kitty Zheng (Sherman & Sterling) and Léonard Stoyanov (MLL).
HK45 is a group for young arbitration practitioners in Hong Kong and beyond formed under the auspices of the HKIAC. ASAB40 was founded in 2001 and is the young practitioners' group of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), open to arbitration practitioners up to approximately forty years of age.
