Ilya Podolskiy

Ilya Podolskiy, CPA, CGMA, CRMA, Cr. FAC, is a Vice President with responsibility for the management and ongoing development of Burford’s SOX compliance program. Mr. Podolskiy has over a decade of experience forming and implementing audit and SOX strategies.

Prior to joining Burford, Mr. Podolskiy worked as a SOX Manager for Sirius Group, where he oversaw quarterly certification and disclosure control procedures, while also working with business leaders to design, implement and modify processes supporting individual SOX certifications. He also worked at Assured Guaranty, where he performed and documented thorough audits and developed business processes and control environments. He began his career as a Junior Accountant and has since grown his prowess in tax and audit management, including as Senior Auditor for American International Group (AIG) and Tokyo Marine North American Services (TMNAS).

Mr. Podolskiy earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting from CUNY Hunter College, New York and his Master’s in Taxation from Villanova School of Law.
