Richard Lee
Corporate Counsel
Richard Lee is a Corporate Counsel with responsibility for overseeing Burford’s investments in the UK, EMEA and Asia-Pacific, based in London.
Prior to joining Burford, Mr. Lee was a Managing Associate at Linklaters, London where he was responsible for advising clients in a variety of cross-border banking transactions and supervising deal and specialist teams. He began his career at Herbert Smith Freehills, Sydney where he worked on various financings and acquisitions.
Mr. Lee earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales, Australia in 2012.
