Alyx Pattison, Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at the session “The Current Landscape of New Law” as part of The Law and Ethics of NewLaw 2021 program. The session will take place on 7 October at 9:00am PDT.
The session will tour the innovations and new developments in the market for legal services and law-related services and its regulation—in order words, NewLaw. In doing so, the speakers will examine some of the financial trends behind the legal paradigm shifts, including insights into the how much capital enters into the market and where it comes from. Alyx will be joined by Joshua Lenon (Clio).
The Law and Ethics of NewLaw 2021 program is offered by the Practicing Law Institute (PLI). PLI was founded in 1933 and is a nonprofit learning organization dedicated to keeping attorneys and other professionals at the forefront of knowledge and expertise.
