The session will examine the growing role of private equity in the legal industry, with a focus on the management services organization (MSO) model as a vehicle for outside investment in law firms. Panelists will explore how these transactions are structured, the opportunities and challenges they present and what increased private equity activity could mean for the future of legal services.

Drawing on real-world transaction experience, the discussion will also offer practical insights into how these deals come together and the considerations for law firm leaders, investors and operators evaluating outside capital.

Mr. Perla will be joined by Asim Badaruzzaman (Certum Legal Services), Naz Vahid (Oxford SLA) and Doug Rosenstein (Uplift). The discussion will be moderated by Trisha Rich (Holland & Knight).
