Gabriela Bersuder to speak at ABA webinar on legal finance

Gabriela Bersuder, Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at the webinar “Nuts and Bolts of Litigation Finance: Who, When, Why—and How” hosted by the American Bar Association (ABA). The session will take place on September 15 at 1pm EDT.

Litigation funding allows clients to bring cases they otherwise could not, through counsel of their own choosing, all without paying up front or out of pocket. Litigation finance also enables lawyers to take on matters for which they otherwise might not be paid. This program looks at how the process works, which parties use litigation funding, and how it improves access to justice. Panelists include plaintiff and defense counsel and litigation funders. Gabriela will be joined by Michael Lynn (Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann) and Hon. Nancy Atlas (TXSD).
