Mick Smith to speak during VII Oxford Arbitration Day

Mick Smith, Principal at Burford Capital will be speaking on the Arbitration and Insolvency panel during VII Oxford Arbitration Day co-hosted by the Commercial Law Centre (University of Oxford), the Oxford International Arbitration Society, the EDUCA Foundation, and the Canal Arbitragem. The session will take place on November 24 at 9:30AM GMT.
Mick will be joined by Yasmine Lahlou (Chaffetz Lindsey), Manuel Penades (King’s College, London) and Celso Xavier (XGIVS Advogados).
The aim of the Commercial Law Centre (University of Oxford) is to provide an environment for high quality research in all aspects of national, international, transnational, and comparative law, relating to commerce and finance, with scope for particular attention to be paid to emerging markets.
The Oxford International Arbitration Society aims to bring together those students interested in international arbitration and increase knowledge and awareness by inviting leading practitioners and arbitrators to give speeches.
