Global Arbitration Review reports on the news that a Burford subsidiary has won a default judgment to enforce a US$25 million investment treaty award against Kyrgyzstan. The plaintiffs filed a UNCITRAL claim in 2015 against the state in response to expropriation of their rights in a critical mine.
