Jeffery Commission to speak at Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) Workshop

Jeffery Commission, Director at Burford Capital, will be speaking at the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA) Workshop session on “The Recognition and Enforcement of Awards in International Arbitration”. The workshop will take place on April 15, at 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EST via Zoom.

The session is one of a 12-part series hosted by Harvard Law School to offer its students of International Arbitration Law an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge in the field and develop their practical skills. The individual sessions will begin with an introduction to the preliminary steps in a dispute and conclude with the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. They will be conducted by a diverse range of leading practitioners and arbitrators. HIALSA intends to offer these sessions as a supplement to course offerings in international investment and commercial arbitration.

The workshop is co-directed by Luke Sobota, Hugh Carlson, Macarena Bahamonde, and Kyle Gaines. It was co-founded in 2017-2018.
