Jeffery Commission to speak at ICSID webinar

Jeffery Commission, Director at Burford, will be speaking at the webinar “ICSID Rules Amendment and Investor-State Disputes in the Digital Era” co-organized by the Ministry of Justice of Japan and ICSID. The webinar will take place on 8 December at 1pm GMT.

The webinar is part of the 2021 Tokyo Forum on Dispute Resolution and will focus on the most recent developments in the field of dispute resolution, including the ICSID Rules Amendment project and the impact of digitalization on dispute resolution. The panel will be moderated by Ms. Meg Kinnear (Secretary-General, ICSID) and Jeffery will be joined by other prominent professionals in the field.

ICSID is the world’s leading institution devoted to international investment dispute resolution. States have agreed on ICSID as the forum for investor-state dispute settlement in most international investment treaties and numerous investment laws and contracts.
