Florencia Villagi

Florencia Villagi is a Vice President with responsibility for assessing and underwriting legal risk in investment treaty and international commercial arbitration matters.

Prior to joining Burford, Ms. Villagi was a Counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills in London and New York. She has experience with risk analysis and representation of high-profile commercial litigation and arbitration disputes worldwide. She began her career as an Associate at PAGBAM and Diaz Bobillo, Vittone & Asociados in Buenos Aires.

Ms. Villagi earned her LLM in US Law cum laude from the Fordham University School of Law, as well as her LLM in international and comparative dispute resolution with merits from the Queen Mary University of London. She completed her postgraduate degree in Energy Law, summa cum laude, and graduated as Abogado at the University of Buenos Aires School of Law.
