Tom Brown

Tom Brown is a Vice President in Burford’s asset recovery business and is based in London.

Prior to joining Burford, Mr. Brown worked at the UK Government’s Serious Fraud Office, where he was responsible for investigating corruption of multi-billion-dollar oil and gas contracts in the Middle East. Mr. Brown previously worked at Herbert Smith Freehills as an associate and solicitor-advocate in its dispute resolution division, where he acted on commercial litigation, arbitration and investigation matters on behalf of banks, investment funds and major corporates.

Mr. Brown graduated from the University of Cambridge.
