Jörn Eschment and Emily Tillett to speak at YAWP/HK45 series
- International arbitration
Jörn Eschment, Senior Vice President at Burford, and Emily Tillett, Vice President at Burford, will be speaking at the virtual series “Third-party litigation finance in practice” hosted alongside Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners (YAWP), TDM and HK45. The series consists of two sessions on March 3 at 8:30am GMT and March 8 at 2:00pm GMT.
This series will cover the concept and basics of commercial legal finance, its use and implications in practice (including its ability to improve diversity in the business of law) and provide attendees with an opportunity to engage directly with the trainers in small group sessions. The workshop is especially useful for senior legal practitioners, including those who regularly consider new mandates and issues to have in mind at the outset of a new matter. Jörn and Emily will be joined by Elizabeth Chan (Allen & Overy), Olivia Further (Nivalion AG) and Lucas Macedo (Nivalion AG).
HK45 is the group for all young arbitration practitioners in Asia and beyond. Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners (YAWP), the first young group for female practitioners only.
