Lisa Buckser-Schulz

Lisa Buckser-Schulz is Director of Business Planning & Analysis with responsibility for management reporting, budgeting and financial forecasting.  

Prior to joining Burford, Ms. Buckser-Schulz was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at The Garden City Group, where she managed several high-profile class action administrations and provided legal counsel to the company. Prior to that, Ms. Buckser-Schulz was Vice President and General Counsel at A.B. Data, where, in addition to her legal role, she served as a financial, tax and business advisor for the class action administration group. She practiced as a plaintiffs’ class action litigator at the firms of Labaton Sucharow and Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossman after starting her legal career as a defense attorney at Schulte Roth & Zabel.

Ms. Buckser-Schulz graduated magna cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review, and has a degree in accounting from Rutgers College.
